Protonica are Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze from Berlin (Germany). In 2003 they got together for the first time at the radio show "Waschmaschine“ which was presented by Ralf. Some weeks later Piet sended few tracks he made in

the past to him. Ralle was producing on his own for some years too and liked his kind of music. Thus they decided to meet each other again and tried out how they

can work together. Protonica was born as they finished their first common track called 'Orion Sleepers' in 2004. The music of Protonica is a combination of Ralle's feeling for groove and Piet's intuition for harmonies.
